Put what you've learned into practice by taking part in a live business consultancy project where you can work with established businesses, charities and third sector organisations and develop skills and experience that will make you more attractive to future employers.

This course offers the opportunity to take a ‘sandwich’ year – a year of paid employment in industry which will build your skills and experience. This is usually taken between the second and third year of your degree, typically making your course four years in total. Students who choose the sandwich route find it helps with both their studies and getting a job after graduation. It can build your confidence, contacts, and of course your CV. Leeds Beckett advertise lots of placement opportunities and provide support in helping you find the right placement for you.

Course Benefits

Our Finance modules are mapped to certain ACCA modules so students who have completed this degree won't need to sit these ACCA papers to get their accreditation.

Opt to take a paid work placement in the third year to develop experience and skills that employers are looking for and being to develop your professional network. We have a dedicated employability and placements office that will help you secure valuable placements at SMEs, national and global organisations including Disney and Apple. They can also help with advice and guidance on CV and letter writing, interview techniques, assessment centres and psychometric tests.

Academic qualification equivalents

Standard 12th qualifications (CBSE/ICSE or State Boards of equivalent)

Grade: Minimum aggregate of 60% and above

English language requirements (one of the below):

• IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
• All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) – English Grade 70% 
• Indian School Certificate (Class-XII) (CISCE) – English Grade 70%
